Weather in Kraków (from CNN)
Currency exchange: The currency of Poland is zloty (abbreviation - zl). It's international code is PLN. 1 zloty = 100 groszy (abbreviation - gr). Coins are: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 gr, and 1, 2, 5 zl. There are also 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 banknotes. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the airports, hotel receptions and banks and in many small exchange offices called "kantor" located all around the city centre (these usually offer the best exchange rates).

International credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, Eurocard) are accepted in a majority of hotels, in many shops & restaurants, and can be used in most cash machines ("bankomat").
