Notifications of acceptance will be sent by e-mail by 3 August 2001.

The DAIS'2001 Conference organisers reserve the right to reject requests failing to meet the criteria defined by the European Commission, as well as to grant only part of the requested sum as the overall funding is limited. In particular, if the total of grant requests exceeds the funds available, requests for conference fee and hotel will take precedence. Participants are therefore advised to seek funding for travel expenses in parallel from other sources.

If granted, hotel room fees will be transferred directly to the hotel.
Travel costs, if granted, will be reimbursed to the participant's employing institution on a basis of an invoice submitted to the University of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow after the grant request is accepted.

The grants will be effective only if the contract negotiations are successfully completed and the necessary funds obtained by the University of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow, Poland.
